I finally finished my Advent Calender (from the 2011 Holiday Catalog).
Okay, so it'll be a gift for next year since it's already Dec. 5th. LOL...A Day Late and a Dollar Short...that's me:)
I really enjoyed making this project, although it was a bit tedious, and time consuming..but the result: Pure Cuteness:) Pictures don't do these calenders justice...way better in real life!
What's Behind The Doors?
|Sorry this one is so blurry, forgot to change camera settings:(|
Tip: I created all 25 pieces first, then created a grid for placement (see Below). When I was completely finished adding all elements, I adhered my 12 X 12 CS to one of the backing boards that come with DSP.
Tip: To help place the squares:
On your background piece (12 X 12) Score a grid:
3/8" on all four sides.
Next, (Scoring only to the 3/8" Line)
2 5/8", 4 7/8",7 1/8", and 9 3/8"
Turn opposite way, and score again using the same measurements.
